PS3 Games

Do your current PS3 games got you down. I am personally bored to death with Call of Duty 4 or 5. And I think that Slant 6 has trashed Socom Confrontation. Call of Duty is most definitely played out. Tired of raping people day in and day out? Has the online game play gotten to the point where it isn’t even a challenge anymore? It sure has for me. Socom has gone down the drain as well. With empty and / or late promises about patches and downloadable content, Socom players are definitely tired of of Slant 6 and the people at Socom constantly writing about the updates and how soon they expect them to be out, only to have to wait an extra year for them.

Although the latest Socom patch integrated a lot of great new features, unfortunately it also brought it’s own problems. Now map wins are decided more by kills than plants, hostages or VIPs. This has totally taken away from the game. Instead of worrying about planting the bomb or extracting hostages, all the game modes have more recently come to resemble a game of Elimination.

I can’t wait for the release of the new Call of Duty game to come out. I was anxious for the 1.60 patch to come out for Socom. Unfortunately I think Modern Warfare 2 is going to be released before the patch comes out. October is showing a huge release of new PS3 games. With the exception of Uncharted 2, I’m not too interested in any of them. I need a good shooter game to keep me busy.

This is an action game published and developed by Playlogic. It’s rated Mature 17+ for Blood and Gore, Crude Humor, and Violenc.

Once upon a time you were a famous fairytale character, but you lost your fame! Play one out of 4 different characters in your quest to become famous again. Try to become famous again by rescuing princes or princesses, defeating giants, retrieving magical items and rescue the fairytale world from evil forces. Luckily many different weapons lay around in this fairytale world, which players can use to shoot and carve up enemies… and this is where the fun begins! Foes are sliced and diced in real-time, thanks to Playlogic’s inhouse “Dynamic Slicing” technology. Instead of using preset animations, players have the ability to slice up an enemy in any way they like by using the analog stick. Apart from this “cutting” edge technology, the game will also use the tested powers of the Unreal 3 engine.

Army of Two The 40th Day Trailer

From what I’ve read on the Socom.com website, the 1.50 Patch Update for Socom should be released within the next week. Thousands of fans have been looking forward to this patch for a long time. It’s supposed to include the new clan ladder system so that clans can compete in and see status of previous clan matches.

I am however glad that they took their time before releasing it and introducing us to even more problems. If you remember this happened before with other patch updates as well.

Following the release of this patch will be the 1.60 patch update. The 1.60 patch update will include some free downloadable content such as :

2 new factions - Dutch KCT and the Italian COMSUBIN

The Dutch KCT special weapon will be the 417 Assault Rifle.

The Italian COMSUBIN special weapon will be the SPAS 15 Shotgun.

There will also be 4 new weapons available no matter which faction you belong to. They are as follows :

AK-74

SR-25

There will also be various updates to existing weapons to make them seem more realistic. They are also working on 100% RANDOM Medleys for the 1.60 patch update.
